Could you build an 8 string from a loaded body?

I've been looking for 8 string bass options under $400, which is I know is wishful. I could get one of those Rogue basses, but I've also been looking at Warmoth however, I know I'm not qualified to put in the electronics, or anything like that. So I figured buy a loaded body and replace the bridge with an 8 string bridge, maybe have a luthier install the neck which I would order from Warmoth. However I'm not 100% confident about a 4 bolt neck withstanding the tension of an 8 string. Especially living in New England, where the weather fluctuates like nobodies buisness. Is this feasible, should have the luthier drill the holes instead while he's installing the neck? Should I give up and buy the Rogue bass or save up for a Dean or Shector? I'm really not in a rush, just bored and thinking at least a year or two ahead.

Yeah, I've seen them with bolt on but it's always been 6 bolts don't really know anything about building basses so I assumed that it wasn't great for tension. Do any of you guys think that an 8 string warmoth neck on a Jazz body would sound nice, I love the J design but I've never seen one like what I have in mind.

EDIT: I've gone to Warmoth and I think I know what I want in my neck, thanks. For 8 string is there anything with the frets that I would need to know? What sizes of frets are most common on 8 strings?
