125th time? All the cover bands I’ve been in always seemed to play it (yes, I did it when it was new. We opened for Tommy Tu-tone at the Back Room in Austin, TX). Good to have in your back pocket if needed…

I'm the brand new guy in our band but I really want to add some Garbage to our setlist. So good. I listened to their first two albums on repeat obsessively.
Agreed. Glad you all are having fun with your gigs, but these lists are exactly the reason I stopped gigging. And yeah, I know “it’s what audiences want.” I just don’t want to be part of it anymore.
Watched 2 mates sub in bands last week and I couldn't for the life of me see why they were doing it.
Dead straight stuff and not played with any sort of musicality...and the vox were in tune but monotone.
So, even for a xmas party, these bands couldn't step up and unfortunately I'm seeing that these band types have one level and nothing to fall back on..

I don't have a set list to share, but I have a set list subbing story.
A drummer contacted me to sub for a gig that was later that evening. I asked him to send me the set list. He wouldn't because it was "proprietary". LOL. It also didn't pay.
I declined telling him 1) I needed to know the tunes so I could do a little prep and 2) that I needed to get paid.
He called me another time. Gave me about a week's notice. This time he very reluctantly gave me the set list and very reluctantly paid me.
I made a Spotify Playlist of the songs to listen to as I prepped. He searched my Spotify profile and found the playlist. He hassled me to take it down since it was proprietary. For a couple years he did this.
I obliged at his first request because I didn't really care and I wanted to be done with him. However the Playlist still appeared when he entered the link to it even after I removed it. He was furious. I told him there was nothing I could do. Never heard from him again, thankfully.

Exactly. I did what any self-respecting bass player would do. Fire the drummer!
