Cover for a Genzler BA12-3?

Here are a couple of pics of the TLC covers:

Please note that the rack has since been superseded by a Magellan 800 . They have a strap that's fixed using velcro.

Best thing is the feet on the side opposite the handle:

To set up I simply detach the velcroed bit and pull the cover up. To pack up I simply put the cover over the top, put the cab on the side (rubber feet down), push the cab in properly (snug fit) and fix the strap. Super-sturdy, too.

Anyway, looks like there are many viable solutions for all tastes.

The logo cover is cool. Do you think it would fit over a cab modified with sort feet on the side opposite the handle?

There is enough room with the covers that it will fit over the cab even if you have side feet installed on the left panel of the cabinet.

I went with the Genzler cover. Let me start by saying that I'm completely happy/satisfied with it. The fabric seems heavy enough and the padding is also enough for my use. The embroidered logos are way cool. It fits perfectly and feels as if it will fold up nicely when not on the cab (at a gig for example).

That said, for some folk, I think the Lecover might be a better choice. I have a Premium Plus Lecover cover for another cab. It is significantly more padded, heavier fabric, and has piping on the corners and around the handle opening. It also has the option of adding pockets and a strap across the "bottom." It is also more stiff and more cumbersome when not on the cab and doesn't like to fold. From what I can see on the Lecover site, the Premium Plus is not available right now. The Premium would also have more padding but I can't speak to the fabric weight so the Premium would likely be a little more protective than the Genzler and the Premium Plus a bit more than that.

I haven't seen the lower level Lecovers but I would guess the Genzler is the equivalent of the Basic Plus or somewhere between the Basic Plus and the Premium. Depending on shipping costs, it may be a tiny bit less expensive than the Genzler... without the Genzler logo. FWIW, I was thinking of the Basic Plus Lecover without any options but with shipping it ended up just a few dollars less to me than the Genzler and the logo was the deciding factor.

You've provided a great over-view of the GENZLER covers and brought out a very good point that is always a concern for me---the ability to fold up the cover and stash on a gig. We think our covers offer great protection for most transit situation but yet can be taken off and folded pretty flat to stash during a gig.
There are many good cover options available and we hope that ours offers something for those wanting great protection and the company branding as well.

So many of these kinds of issues involve compromises - weight, expense, durability, protectiveness, how much space it takes when not being used, etc. Obviously an anvil case would offer the most protection but... In every situation, one decides which compromises make sense for their individual situation. As with the other Genzler gear that I've experienced, the decisions made make good sense and they certainly work for me. Thanks Jeff

I was bound to get one eventually. I ended up ordering one anyways. Figured I could make it work and you're right, that is a snappy logo.
