Crimes Against Cabs - Rehab Help Request

All done, it sounds slightly different but not in a bad way. Seems less 'bright' and has more mids than ever. I'm happy with this.

So in review here's the list of what was done:

1. Repaired and painted the baffle.
2. Plugged many holes.
3. Refinished the outside with Duratex.
4. Replaced the corners.
5. Replaced the handles.
6. Replaced the sound damping insulation with foam.
7. Much cleaning.
8. Replaced the steel mesh grille with fabric as it originally was.

The wheels are in horrible shape as it turns out (cracked and splitting) so if it ever goes on the road again I'll have to replace them too.

Thank you to everyone who gave me advice and encouragement, I appreciate you all being here when I needed you.

And now for the bass porn shots:

Like your amp ;)

Thanks, I love my amp. ;)

I still don't have a good understanding of the saturation dynamics knobs, do you have links to any documentation that explains how those and the whole tube/FET blending are supposed to work or be used? I bought it new from a dealer and he tried to explain it to me but I'm quite dense without a manual. I just diddle the knobs until it sounds good and the clipping lights are out, then turn the volume up until I get a big happy. :)

Great job, Cardinal Fang!

Maybe now that you are done, you can drink one of those unopened beers that you kept showing.

Ha ha, I drank them. Iron Maiden Trooper English ale and the other was a Megadeth themed Belgian. Delicious.

Or share it with the forum??? ;)

If I could digitize and transmit beer I'd be a rich man, huh?

I saw Trooper (draught) for the first time in the pub we played on Friday night so had to try a pint, I can recommend it. (I allow myself one pint once we get the gear set up, it is water after that. How times have changed!)

It came in a Trooper glass with the story of the Charge of the Light Brigade printed on it.
