Well, that meant the design provide a gap between the saddles as time the string holes are 20mm apart. 60 - (19×3)=3mm/3=1mm. The gap between saddles should be less than 1mm due to convergence of strings, more 0.7-0.8 mm around. So, why lot of guys trying to keep the saddles stucked hold together if the bridge was not designed to work aso ? It is a tone consideration or a mechanical stability reason ? If is so then the pressure of the string to the saddle will be the problem, not the gap in between. High action and get rock stable saddle vs low action and saddles jiggling around.
