Crown vs. QSC

I voted QSC because they are well represented here by Bob Lee. I had a problem with fan noise and they Fed-Ex'ed (a new verb) my a new fan and the kit to install it. Great service. That earned my loyalty.
I have no experience with Crown.

It seems like every Crown I've come across has had problems. From a CE1000 that had one channel just completely stop working to a powerbase2 that wouldn't turn on to even a macrotech shutting down in the middle of a gig, I've seen a number of them go down.
On the other hand, I've never seen a QSC go down.
Now this is really just anectodal evidence since my sample size is way too small for my experiences to hold any statistical merit, but personally I don't know if I'd ever feel comfortable buying a Crown amp.

I use QSC 2402's(700W/CH @ 4 ohms) for bass rig pushing ACME B2's. They don't break a sweat & the PLX series was "discontinued" to make way for the "new" PLX2. These were marked WAY down PLUS they offer a warranty extension([Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. Low cost+reliable+LONG warranty=SOLD!
OK you did say RMX....but I looked at that too vs. the PLX and the PLX got my $$$.
