Crown XLS 1500 HPF

Apparently its a pretty steep filter, and lowest freq is 50Hz.

Might not be too noticeable on a 4 string, but I bet you'd notice a 24db/octave cut at 50Hz on a 5 string that goes down to something like 27Hz, almost an octave from the HPF cutoff at 50hz.

I was excited about it, until I saw the cutoff freq. Its made to be a cutoff if you're using a subwoofer. Not as a subsonic filter.

I just picked up that amp, read the manual but haven't actually tried it yet.

Wouldn't hurt anything to try it if you want. I love a subsonic filter, seems to eliminate a lot of cone motion that I always assumed was the bass, but turns out were subsonics generated by string handling/etc. I have subsonic filter in my effects loop @ 20Hz now.
