Crown XLS 2000 with Eden

I set the amp mode to stereo, HPF 50Hz. Would you safe this would be a good starting point for the combo in the original post? As you can tell, these newer amp are quite different than "just plug it in" type amps for me.
I use nothing but the "00" series in our PA. Big "yes" for the HPF...you have a choice of 50 hz or nuthin'. Per the observations of others, defeat the clip limiters...or don't. Sensitivity is 1.4 so I've had no problems running the attenuators fully CW when fed by a known line-level mixing desk. Per spec, the Crown will push 375 w / 8 ohm per side in stereo / parallel mono OR 1300 w in bridged mono (yikes!).
Use the left main output on the Eden.

It's not at all mandatory, but it IS a good idea. @Wasnex's earlier post #4 gives pretty good guidance about where to set it.
So it states in the manual (page 7) when running a garden-variety mono output.

The Eden is more convoluted than the Crown, that's for sure. It'll be a kickin' combination. Been a while but the array is an OCD-driven knob-twiddler's delight.

I only play once a week for a transformation group at our church on Thursday evenings. So I won't get chance to hear it until next week Thursday since Thanksgiving is this week but maaaaan!

Yes, that's a good choice. I didn't realize that the lowest frequency available for the HPF was 50Hz; that setting is basically inaudible for the purposes of a bass rig, and it'll protect your cab (and possibly enhance your on-stage sound, depending on the room/stage acoustics).I set the amp mode to stereo, HPF 50Hz. I (cautiously) use a QSC PLX3602 as a power amp for a bass rig, and sometimes with an Eden Navigator pre. The QSC doesn't have an electronic menu, but offers a switch on the back for a 33Hz HPF which I always engage, even when using it as a subwoofer amp on a sound gig. FWIW I avoid using the Enhance knob; it's good for "bedroom tone" when playing solo, but not much else IMO.

It depends widely on a number of variables, but the semi-parametric EQ makes it easy for me -- by turning up the level of an EQ band and sweeping the frequency while playing an open string with the other hand, you can either find a problem frequency, or one that will help you hear yourself, etc.
Question to all. Is it necessary to have ventilation for the preamp or will a 4 space rack be fine
Just checked my Crowns and they're all vented front / back and have stacked (3) in the past with no issues. I can't foresee the Eden (hybrid w/ valves?) producing enough heat to pose a problem.
