CS-9 trim pots- what do they do?

I just snagged a nice CS-9 chorus(thanks, fitz420)& right away noticed what appears to be a pair of trim pots- inside the battery compartment. I searched but found nothing on these here or the 'nets, and thought I'd ask before tweaking them and effing up the tone.

I don't know what they do but mark them with a sharpie before you mess with them and then if it sounds crappy you can just put them back where they were.

One of those pots adjusts the bias voltage for the BBD (delay chip). The other one adjusts the clock for the clock driver chip. These pots would be set at the factory with an o-scope.

Well, I appreciate the input. I won't promise not to- I mean, there they are all tempting, jolly and candy-like, silently saying *turn me! Tweak me! Those TB guys don't know what they're missing..*
If I do I will take great pains to accurately mark their current positions, and only blame myself should the pedal subsequently burst into flames, implode or shed its mojo
