I swear I saw an ad for a very inexpensive medium scale bass but can't remember where.
I just want the neck and the basses I saw were only $150 (I think).

I have a long term project that would like a complete neck to attach to the body I have been messin with.

Warmoth does some short scale necks but they would be at least 200

I can sell you an SX neck for $80. 2 1/4" wide in the pocket.

    I have a similar question.
Ok for the medium scale club; but, what are the medium scale basses currently produced?
I'm excluding luthiers for reperibility and financial reasons.

In addition to the basses on that list, Eastwood makes two 32" basses, the Sidejack and the Black Widow. And Bacchus makes a 33".

So you know the Eastwood Mosrite "Sidejack" bass is featured in my post 109, while the EB-1 replica tribute is in post 142 at the above link. I am not aware of the Black Widow - at least not from their website. Can you give us more info?

    Ah, I see it now:

    It's at post 181 now.
