Cursed to ding

Now, recently I purchased a NEW bass from a fellow tber, yesterday was my second day owning it and I already dinged it when putting it on by hitting it with my tooth. Then I realized this has happened to almost every bass I owned either the first or second day of ownership. My p bass and warwick both received headstock dings while just playing in my bedroom. Ironically the only bass to not receive a ding by my hands was used and already had a ding.

Anyone else suffer such a fate?

Basses that actually get played get dings. Don't sweat it.

I hate pristeen basses... almost as much as purposefully reliced ones... but that's another issue...

Haha, well the length I had my strap set to on my P bass made the SG reissue I got MUCH higher because of button locations, so when I was putting my bass on I somehow jerked and made a ding on the back part of the body

Sometimes I get lost looking at it, it mesmerizes me. But, I honestly don't care about dings, just dinging it within such a short period.

I've dinged brand new basses before, but never with a tooth. It sucks, but you'll get over it as soon as you put the second ding in.
