Curtis Novak PB-90--any reviews?

I am looking to upgrade pickups in one of my basses and had some recommendations for Curtis Novak pickups. I e-mailed him and he suggested his Invalid Link Removed might be what I'm looking for.

I've seen a lot of generally positive comments about his work, but does anyone have any experience with the PB-90s? Maybe even a sound clip?

Also, if I get these would it be a good idea to install 500k pots?

Hello Mike. There is bassvirtuoso's comment, and in that thread is my Novak PB-V. You could ask them for more info. Though I like Laurent's comment here very much, it is the only Novak pickup I ever played; so I can't report on the PB-90.
