Has anyone tried the Curtis Novak pb fat pickups? I’m just curious how they sound compared to the traditional vintage pickups.

Curtis Novak pb fat pickup

I have them installed in my Lakland Bob Glaub. I was on the phone with Curtis a few years ago while having some pickups rewound.and told him how much I liked the sound of the Crosby Stills & Nash bass sound.. He told be that it was also one of his favorite sounding bass recordings and that this Fat pickup would put me in the neighborhood of that sound…they do sound big and fat… I’ve used the bass on several shows and it always sounds fine.
My favorite P Bass pickups are the DiMarzion DP 122.. I have them in my NASH and i=they sound amazing.

Hi. I’m also curious about these pickups and can’t seem to find any sound samples. Has anyone else tried these? And how are you finding them after a few months @57pbass?
