Custom Bass pickups

Hi,
So my friend is right now building me a beautiful 4 string bass with warwick part I already had. Since he's doing a way better job then I thought, I will ask him for a 5 string in the near future.

Now with so many pickups to choose i am left wondering. I want the most agressive sounding pickups as I play progressive death metal mainly. I want to be loud in the mix. I play through a darkglass alpha omega, if that could help directing me. I currently own a peavey cirrus bolton 5 and a spector euro4. I really like the peavey sound but would love something a little bit meaner. I was looking at nordstrand but no idea wich sets.

Also, to make matter worse, I might go fan fret but not 100% sure.

Sorry for the long post.

Thank you!

Maybe dingwall PUs with dark glass pre? Those dingwalls are super grindy, that's the tone I'd want if I was gonna play that stuff. Would be cool to have that in a warwick. The slanted pickups are also sort of a nod to the thumb pickup placement too.

Yes I am looking at those for now!
Thank you for your input, help a lot. I am not 100% sure the nordstrand dingwall are made for fan fret though as they say on the website "for your traditionnal bass". Have to check.

Thanks
