Custom Bass Wait Support Group Needed [Part 3]

Well after a rough 6 month wait my Custom build Bacchus coming from the STR factory is finished and should be in my hands tomorrow. Can't wait to get it. The luthiers of the Deviser Factory makes some of the best built basses I've ever seen.

OK, as of 6/8 I'm in the Zon waiting list.

Yes, I am well aware that Zon wait times can be wildly volatile. Took the chance anyway, despite the fact that I'm getting an unusual build, possibly first of its kind. I guess I like living dangerously. :nailbiting:

Specs in a nutshell:
Sonus 519H
Headless
24 frets, 34" scale, no face dots
Matte black with black hardware

The good news is that time slows down when you're on a waiting list, and at my age that's a good thing. But no, I don't want to wait one year for this bass, let alone three (the wait time for a recent delivery)! Here's hoping that the Zon machine is well oiled and my fears are unfounded.

I put a large down payment last in May to have my dream Warrior Built in my specs and woods. It will be a Dran Michael with Ash body, Spalted Maple top with a Blue Burst Ploy Finish. The electronics will be USA Bartolini M45 Dual Soaps and either a Glock pre or a Pope (Haven't decided on the preamp yet). The neck will be a 5 piece Maple Walnut neck with Ebony Fretboard and Blue Abalone Inlays and Blue Binding on neck.It will also have spalt pickup covers and knobs to match top and JD is having a Cross etched into the pickup covers for me. Here is some pics of Warriors finish that I chose to have done along with the top, Neck and Inlays I chose to have done. It's killing me to wait but after owning several Warriors and seeing what woods and pickups I like best this is a combination of my dream woods, color, and electronics. Should be a killer bass when finished.

Finally got the KR acoustic as posted above. We had been waiting a while on a custom Ameritage case. Very pleased with the guitar. The old growth redwood is in a very nice sweet spot. Very responsive to delicate fingerstyle and just enough headroom when flat picking. I haven't done exact measurements, but it's about concert sized and about an inch deeper (top to back) than my Taylor GC. Sounds a bit like a really nice OM (the next bigger acoustic size). The end result is a nice and versatile acoustic. Sounds excellent in standard or dropped D. Will probably play with DADGAD tuning if/when I get home from work.
