Custom flats?

Max at Pyramid Strings made me custom 23” scale tapes and round wounds for my uke basses back when nobody else would or could.

I mainly play the 34" scale precision but those basses of yours look amazing, I have no idea what its like to play uke but I hear what I see somehow.

As far as custom flats, I have no experience with this vendor, but I often gas for an 8 string bass (octaves of standard E.. ie E1 E2 A1 A2 D1 D2 G1 G2) and I think these guys might be able to get a complete set.

Anyone has ordered custom flats?
I found this company:
I would appreciate any info about them or some other manufacturers.

What I'm looking for is a short scale custom gauge (.142) B string.
Garry Goodman's Octave4Plus is indeed your best bet.

On a couple occasions I directed a TBer in search of a custom flatwound to Pyramid, only for the company to politely decline. (One such occasion was precisely about a short-scale large-gauge flat:

My impression is that, at least regarding flatwounds, they prefer to limit themselves to offering custom-length versions of gauges they already make (their largest being a 126):

Finally, I'm aware of an Argentine manufacturer, Lemma Sound,
being available for flatwound custom orders. To what extent, and for what catchment area, I know not.
