Are there any prominent custom bass neck builders who can build a neck to an existing body?

Warmoth will do it if it's a standard Fender-sized neck (or a few other options as well) but they won't make a totally custom neck that doesn't fit one of their templates. Warmoth won't even make me a replacement neck for my Warmoth bass, because they've discontinued the wide 5! So I have a gorgeous Warmoth body with no neck, lol.

Potentially a Cort but I am also thinking of building the bodies of basses and having someone else build a neck for it.

I am very largely a DIY person but the idea of building a neck scares me.
back contouring... headstock...... FRETS...having it actually fit well...aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh

I had Chris Stambaugh do exactly that. Wasn't cheap and I had to send him the body, but it's a great neck and a great fit.

EDIT: Just saw your location...I think Chris is in New Hampshire as well.

magnusguitars.de has made custom necks. Also, used to make necks for earlier ritter basses.
