Custom paint for a bass

I'm going to (hopefully) be buying a new bass soon, seeing as my input is completely screwed and won't play. I'm still debating on a Jaguar, a classic Fender jazz bas, a Aerodyne jazz bass, or a Ibanez AGB200, but that's besides the point.
If I buy the Jaguar or classic jazz bass, I may want to get it painted a different color. How would I go about that? I wouldn't want to do it myself, seeing as I'm not too gifted in that area, so does anyone know somewhere that I could get it customly painted for a reasonable price?

Sorry, I meant output. I've been meaning to but a new bass for a while now, since I've been playing a crappy Yamaha since I started, so this just gave me a reason to actually seriously consider buying a new one.

I probably will eventually, or sell it to my friend who's better at that stuff. It's a Yamaha RBX-170.
And as for spray painting it, I'd rather a professional do it, so I don't mess up and have it look bad.
The autobody shop sounds like a good idea. I'll check that out. Do you happen to know how much it would probably be, so I don't get ripped off?
