Custom painting my 2008 Flea bass .
I was tired of the Sunburst Classic look and ask a Pro Custom painter (not painter, this guy is a true artist) to custom paint my bass. The guy's name is Neimar V8 and he's a talented artist from Brazil. He used automotive paints and PU clear to finish the bass.
The art I choose was "Martini Miss" , a draw from the californian pop art artist called Mel Ramos. He's from Oakland (he's 80 years old) and he is very famous for his nude girls draws.
Also, this draw is on the album cover of the latest (from Sony) Brazilian Funk / Rock band called "Jota Quest www.jotaquest.com.br. They are very famous in Brazil and Latin America . The single "Mandou bem" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppdkWi0613cfeaturing Nile Rodgers is a smashing hit in Brazil and South America.
