Does anyone know who makes custom pickup covers? I want to replace my black Nordy soapbar covers with either a white or parchment color ABS plastic or maybe a retro/chrome finish. Thanks

Custom Pickup Covers Manufacturers?

I am wanting to change out two pickup covers on one of my jazz basses also. Going from black to cream. I hope we get some responses here soon. Allparts has some but depending on the year of the bass it's hit and miss for a correct fit.
For jazz bass pickups, you can find a number of options at the link below one might fit. For soapbars, maybe more difficult to find, and perhaps more difficult to swap if they're potted into the covers.

3D printing is dirt cheap these days and there are tons of material choices now, that's how I'd roll.Does anyone know who makes custom pickup covers? I want to replace my black Nordy soapbar covers with either a white or parchment color ABS plastic or maybe a retro/chrome finish. Thanks
I have considered that but since I don't have the 3D printer set-up, I asked around and most guys told me they can't guarantee a smooth finish and/or they can't get the filament in the color I want.
I may end up chrome plating the existing plastic covers and see how that turns out.

Take a look at the JLC3dp website, they offer quite a few filament choices. I'm currently finishing up some onboard preamp enclosure designs and will post my results when I get some samples done. I probably won't get to their $$ multicolored colored options right away though. If their printing is up to the standards of their circuit boards they could be a great option.
