Check out Basscultures.de. Christoph makes great pickups pretty much any shape you want, his prices are reasonable, they sound great, are quiet and has about a 3-4 week turnaround time.

You might be interested in Link Removed - David is a regular on here; I know that he is swampped right now (I'm eagerly awaiting my pickups), but from everything I have read and the clips I've heard, they should be well worth the wait.

I bet it would work better if you PM'd or emailed pickup makers. I suppose they have something else to do than email or PM every possible client.

Try Michael Cooper at Watson Pickups (& Watson Guitars) at Link Removed
He used to work at Nordstrand & is making me some really nice single coils (with bridge coil tap) that will fit in soapbars (I'm ripping out Bart MK1s & stock pre on 07 korean lakland 44-01). Thus far, the prices are competitive, and the communication is very friendly, top notch and fast. I'm really stoked. I'll try to put some a/b recordings up when everything gets finished.
