Also works miracles on my upright bass which I play and take to gigs about 5 times a year. I'm not an upright player, only take it if required for optical reasons and the pay is simply irresistible. But you have to do the treatment in the basement, it is pumping!

Wish I had the CuteCube a couple of years back when this video was recorded. My upright living in the basement hardly ever played on was dead as a fish in the video. It's a cheap one too. With the CuteCube I definitely got some pretty sweet life out of it lately

Nah, just sharing something that is obviously unknown. Making my money by playing the bass since I walked out of high school. Wonder if they kept my degree, never picked it up.

Believe me, this is not unknown to me. I have heard of this idea many times. There has never been a shred of credible evidence to support it, though. No offense intended; if you sense a difference then it's real for you.
Many years ago I was trying to get that "Fender Slap Sound" on all the famous albums...spent s**tloads of money on different basses, PU's, pedals, strings and whatever people recommended. Then I met Will Lee at the Frankfurt Music Fair and asked him personally...his simple answer was: "Get you a Monster Cable"...I got one and was right there where I always wanted to be. Simple as that. Made me laugh
Years later a guy at a local music store that took part of a Monster-Sales-Training told me that the concept of Monster Cables is to balance out delayed time-travel of different frequencies through the cable so they arrive all at the same time and give you the attack of an unplugged acoustic instrument. Is this scientifically possible? Dunno and don't care. They just do the trick. Same sound as good medium price cables but monster attack. Can't really hear no difference, but sure feel it

That is right there in character with the rest of what you have posted. Believe what you want but that Monster Cable Snake Oil is world class. Signals travel through cables at speeds approaching the speed of light; even if some frequencies traveled slower through the cable, the difference in arrival time would never be detectable by human ears. Let's do a little math. The speed of light (C) = 186,000 miles/sec = 982 million feet per second.
Assuming signals move at C/2 (they go faster than that, but let's be conservative), that's 491 million feet per second. The wavelength of 20kHz (the accepted top of our hearing range) is 491 million feet per second divided by 20 thousand cycles per second. That means that a single 20kHz wave is 24,552 feet long. Do you seriously think that a difference in propagation speed of a twenty four thousand and change foot waveform through a 20 foot cable is going to make any difference at all?
