Apples and oranges. Prove that this specific application does anything that the OP says it will and I'll listen. I hold a couple of technical degrees and I am no stranger to materials science, and in my opinion this is hogwash. Spend your money however you want but I'm not buying it.
It's not Apple to oranges, vibrations are vibrations regardless of the application. Also as I said before I'm not trying to prove that this specific device will do what it says but I can tell you that it could do it. It could also have the opposite effect and it could also break your bass. Again, I'm not going to buy it nor want anyone to buy it, I couldn't care less so please can we take this out of the discussion? And I'm also an Engineer, a Mechanical Engineer with 15 years in the mechanical vibration field, this is what I do for living.
I'm going to try to explain how it works and see if I can do it simple.
Fact 1: Everything in this universe vibrates, while in stationary state that vibrations has a specific value and it's called Natural Frequency.
Fact 2: Vibration can and is represented as a sinusoid wave, it has an amplitude and a frequency.
Fact 3: External vibrations can affect (exite) a body vibration level changing its amplitude and frequency, the external vibration frequency is often called Exitation Frequency.
Fact 4: Every solid body has a strength value which is the maximum level of force or pressure that you can apply to it before it breaks, there are actually several values for different types of ways you can apply a "force" to an object, you can shear it, bend it, twist it, etc.
Fact 5: vibration can be measured and analyses in amplitude of displacement, velocity, acceleration and torque. There are others but not interesting for this topic.
When you apply an external vibration to a stationary body two basic things happen:
- both vibrations add up ( both sinusoid waves add up)
- the overall vibration amplitude increases.
When the vibration amplitude increase then the forces in the body increase too, the closer that forces get to the max strength value of that material the more damage to the material and it would effectively "age" the material, if the amplitude of the vibration get over the max strength value for a long period of time it can destroy the body. Normally this is what happens when the Exitation frequency matches the natural frequency of the body and both amplitudes add up to values that are way above the resistance of the material and then a catastrophic failure happens.

So if this thingy could exite the body bass to levels close to the max level allowable it would age the wood. Would that make the bass sound better? I don't know. Did the do any studies about this? I don't think so, could this also damage your bass? Absolutely.
