It’s not just me. He sounds a tad thin when he slaps it too.
Yeah not a fan of the slap tone but the finger tone in single coil on the E and A strings is dope.
You’ve been there and done that. When you know , you know.
It is amazing to me how a bass can seemingly have all the right specs but end up not being the right fit for a player. At times it can be just the opposite. Specs seem wrong but you give it a try and it ends up being a perfect fit.
It’s the sum of all things.
