Dad band names

Some recent threads have concerned "Dad bands". I was unfamiliar with that term until a few days ago. This got me thinking of how to rise to the top of the heap in this new and potentially explosive entertainment segment. Like in any other genre, a catchy name may well be the first step. Keeping in mind that a good moniker is not only an advertisement of sorts, but is a description of who and what you represent musically. Let's have some fun brainstorming. Here goes:

The Vintage People
Grey Sabbath

The Catheteers

Semper Swollen

Lumbago Bay

Dr. Plumber and the Butts

The 48 States

The Jeri Attrix Experience

Your turn!

I'm not reading through 210 posts, and I'd be surprised if this band name wasn't already mentioned, but I'm in a once-a-year band called the Grateful Dads. It's played the local middle school Pasta Night fundraiser for about the last fifteen years, and I've been in it for about fourteen of them. This year's gig was last night, and this year's set list was four repeats from previous years ("Sweet Home Chicago," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Brown Eyed Girl," "Stand By Me") and one new one that gave me a little bit more to do, John Mellencamp's cover of "Wild Nights."

Once a year, it's fun, it's for a good cause, and it's about as much as I can stand, personally, of being in a cover band. :)
