Dad band names

This thread made me think, does Sonic Youth still tour. If they do, isn't it hypocritical to still call themselves young? Maybe they should be called Sonic Aged now.
Kim and Thurston broke up as a couple many years ago, thus winding the band down. I always thought the name would eventually bite them on the ass since they were well into their 20’s(Thurston was a bit younger)when the band was formed. Sorta like being a 70 year old Beach ‘Boy’. But, who knew?

The Bald Eagles (The Eagles)

The Rotting Bones (The Rolling Stones)

The Constant Dead (The Grateful Dead)

Jerry and the Pacemakers (Jerry and the Pacemakers)

The Creaks (The Kinks)

CPR (CCR)

Gotta stop. This is racking my brain!
About 15 years ago David Crosby had a trio with a long-lost son(read: the product of a long ago tryst)and a keyboardist called ‘CPR’; and that’s Gerry, not Jerry.
