D'Addario EXL170S Light Nickel Wound Short Electric Bass Strings, never had a bad experience with D'Addario on the electric guitars. I don't stray for the Strats, Teles & Ovation. The LP has Gibson 10's on it. One Strat is a PRS 9.5's. The Jackson Bass has D'Addario on it. Happy with them, so the sets I ordered are the path of least resistance for a short scale. They were on sale at MF, otherwise I would've tried the E Ball short scales. D'Addario had one additional option 45-100, otherwise for a short scale there was 40-95, 45-105 for those 2 brands.
