Just got a new Jack Casady Goldtop, fantastic bass, completely in love at first sight. Just put on some 3 year old chromes and this thing has turned into a growling, thumping monster. They're gonna stay.
I took the strings off my P-Bass. I need something that'll cut through and have a bit of twang. I have some more chromes en route and the new ones will go on the precision. When new they twang and clank with the best, and then cure into fine prosciutto (or something).
