D'Addario or Warwick?

Warwick strings were pretty bad. For me, anyway.

By 'switching to 35s' do you mean you are going to 35" scale basses? Or you want a .135 B string? Or you want a 35-90 set?

If the latter, it sounds like you want some really loose feeling strings. Like you said, try the lighter DR's first. Also try Fodera strings which also have round cores like DR so they will feel similar.

Sorry I wasn't more specific. By 35, I meant a set of 35-55-75-95 strings. The 2 makers mentioned here are the ones I have seen. I wonder how each of these compares to DR, hence the question. Thanks for the Fodera tip as well.
