Daddy's Junky Music closing all stores

Extended warranties are a great idea - for the people selling the warranty! One of the highest profit products known to man. Caveat Emptor! Most likely everyone that bought one from Daddy's is SOL. Too bad, Daddy's was great and will be missed! Hope that someone fills that marketplace void quickly...

Daddy's had one of the better Extended Warrenty arround. It was reasonbly priced and had alot of good benifits that a working musician could take advantage of.

I'm hoping Music Go Round comes around the area. We need anouther good used dealer.

Music Go Round opened a store in Natick Mass earlier this year in a shopping plaza that has a grocery store and a Building 19, less than a mile from the Guitar Center.

Asking prices seem a little high to me - perhaps they are looking (or especting) to haggle on everything.

Music-Go-Round is a franchise operation. And it ain't cheap.
You need a minimum of $105,000 in cash, PLUS $245,000 in additional assets to obtain financing.

So you'll have to find someone willing to drop some serious coinage before you'll have one in your town.
