Nathan East is on Lose Yourself to Dance also. He gets a pseudo P-bass tone by soloing the neck pickup, but I wish he had just used a real P-bass or a Stingray because the tone would have been more clear.

Yes, you're right... I knew I'd get that wrong somehow. According to wikipedia, East and Genus each do about half the album.

As great as Nathan East is, he cannot duplicate Bernard Edwards feel. Bernard Edwards was a monster talent that can never be replaced.

Sold out? Daft Punk were always making the same pap they're making now. It's just that commercial radio currently favours a lot more club-oriented music.

I like a good song. I don't care what genre, and that song to me is a good song. My 3 year old daughter and I love dancing to it. I hate the phrase "selling out" as if having a career is selling out. I don't get the criticism. You either like what the artist is now doing or not. I think it's called evolution and survival but that's just me.
