Daisy Chained Firepods

Any one run daisy chained Firepods? How does software sequence "see" the two different pods? For example I run logic with a Firepod. It sees all 8 xlr/trs inputs. What would logic see if I connected another Firepod, to the first Firepod via the second firewire jack on the back?

I don't know how it works or sees it in the computer, but I know it does work. I just started messing around with the firepod and really like it so far. The thing is just so damn cool.

If you buy two just make sure you have the latest drivers. The drivers supporting multiple units were released only recently. I'm not sure exactly what they'll be named in your software, but you'll definitely see two different units there.

Digital Performer sees Firepod inputs 1-16. It does not see either set of sp/dif inputs.

Do you have the SPDIF (digital) inputs enabled?

Just in case you haven't upgraded already, Cubase LE can only do 8 inputs, so daisy chaining won't work until you upgrade from the included software.
