Daisy chaining 8 ohm cab to 4 ohm cab?

Hey,
So right now I'm playing an Ampeg V4 through an Orange 4x12 guitar cabinet and was thinking about adding a 1x15 for some more low end. I'm partial to the Ampeg SVT-15E. I used to own one and liked how it sounded. I know the Ampeg is 8 ohms like most 1x15's and my Orange is switchable from 4 to 16 ohms (I had a Marshall switch plate installed on it so I could run the V4 at 4 ohms into it).

Is it safe to have the V4 running at 2 ohms plugged into the 1x15 (8 ohms) which is daisy chained into the 4x12 (which is switched to 4 ohms)?

Did I get my math right or is this not possible to do?

Thanks for your help.

I don't know what impedances the V4 will handle (your configuration will present a 2.67 ohm load). The main issue from my understanding is that you're likely to wind up with a sonic mess trying to run both those cabinets full range. The guitar cab is not a bad idea for running a high-passed, distorted signal, but it will completely bury a 115 trying to provide for your low end. You wouldn't really need more than a single 6" driver to carry the upper mids and highs in a bi-amped rig with a properly tuned 115 for the low-end.
