Here's the story:
I went to GC on Thursday to get it, and they said the bass was sold, and that someone was coming to pick it up. Well, that person's credit card didn't clear. I went in yesterday to buy it, and it was behind the counter, and someone was coming in to get it. I went in GC this morning, and it was still there! I asked what happened, and they said the guy didn't show up. I took that as a sign.
On a side note, I found out about the guy that sold it to them. He's getting a divorce, and since he doesn't play bass for a living, his wife forced him to liquidate ALL of his bass gear. This was one of the pieces he sold to GC. I feel REALLY bad about that.
