I used the T40 I had once at a longer rehearsal and my shoulder was sore.
I even had a neoprene strechy strap.
Although, now that I've played more bass (was a guitar player), I could probably handle it.
Are the solid color T-40s any lighter?
no doubt. get a t20 instead. half the weight, all the mojo!
Lotta love for the T-40 I have a maple on black, killer bass ! I also have a Fury, very nice bass also, it can hang with a good P bass any day.

Yeah for 100 bucks I guess it does "beat" a P bass !You mean Beat my pbass any day.
