Sooooooo good! Voodoo is one of favorite albums so I was little wary that it wouldn't live up to the hype. It definitely does though. Pino kills it as usual

From Amazon UK.Thanks. Where'd you buy the CD from? I'm looking online and it seems like Amazon is the only place online that has them, but the Canadian stock is sold out.
I copped it a few days ago. It's a good cd. Nothing really 'new' though in my opinion. Same D'Angelo laid back 'dragging bass' grooves. But it is live instrumentation which I'll take any day over 'mouse click' created music! By the way, I love Kendra Foster. She's down with George Clinton and the P Funk Allstars!
I feel that after fourteen years, this CD should not sound like bonus cuts from Voodoo.
i really don't think it sounds anything like voodoo. there is no keyboards for one, they have been replaced with many guitars. the single and the last track sound like they could be more evolved voodoo stuff, but for me the rest sounds pretty different.
and about the 14 year thing, he wasn't recording for the 14 years. he took time off. don't think of it as he waited 14 years of recording to give this. more like he took 10 years off, toured for 2 years and then made the record. that's not fact, but probably more accurate to what happened.
