Danny is entertaining for sure. His "duel" with Charles Berthoud was really entertaining and showed what a good sense of humor Charles has as well. (Humour I guess since they're both Brits…)
Mr. Sapko is hilarious! He is the only channel I watch on YouTube Shorts. After having watched him for awhile, I saw one of the videos where he spontaneously sings while playing, and it blew me away! Even my wife commented on how good he is.
If Mr. Sapko's only contribution to global culture was the word 'BEHS' he'd still have me beat. GG, Sir!

Sapko has filled more than one comedy niche that works well for him;
1. Comedy about music in general,
2. Bass (Behs) as the source of the music,
3. Bass (the instrument itself) as a topic of comedy (eg: 5 strings should be stored in a dumpster)
4. Musicians, including; bassists, singers, drummers, guitarists, etc. as topics of humor.
I don't have a problem with his or any accent as long as I can understand the speaker & I can understand him. Being from the south US, I have my own accent that was generally regarded as a negative when I was still in the corporate world. Thankfully, my last few managers were from deeper in the south than I was and had thicker accents. One of them, a VP from Alabama, had an IQ of 140+ and the deepest southern accent you've ever heard. He used both accent and IQ very effectively to get things he wanted. Sapko might be doing a little of the same….

Having a NY accent then going to Texas (which was super fun by the way!) was uhhh something but no one was allergic to it I can say!!! Many thought I was from Boston though
Danny is great.
Bass youtubers have seen a giant rise and generally I enjoy Danny the most as well. His how to get a tone guide is great for beginners, his humor is very funny. He is a cool dude, and he makes some great videos for all. I think it is just a nice change from the usual slap bass content you see and it is nice to have a guy focus on the history of bass and just general pop topics of punk/rock bass. Also shoutout to him for the Kala deal haha, honestly though it is awesome to see those little basses get big!
I also like to share though I love pdbass and Double Bass HQ. pdbass plays both and does some amazing history videos, Double bass HQ some great lessons and is just encouraging. I do know Danny plays some Upright but only rock-a-billy style pretty much. Either way two other great yotubuers I think Danny Spako fans would enjoy!

I like Danny. I didn't know what to think of him at first, but he's grown on me. I enjoy most of his humor, and like how he and other YT bassist can take the piss out of each other - it's good fun. And yes, he's got the chops.
BTW, I just ordered one of his BEHS t-shirts as a Birthday gift for my son on March 27, and it arrived here in California on April 2nd. Now that's FAST!

I moved from Alabama to Oregon and often people ask if I'm from Texas. lol. I still can't break the habit of saying "yes/no ma'am" either.

I wanted to find a way to support him, but wasn't up for the merch, so I bought a CD review of my band's 1994 self produced CD on cameo. I know he's generally a nice guy, so I expected him to be at least reasonably polite. None the less...
, which are desperately needed in these times. I love his humor, his outlook on music and life, and especially his behs playing! Bless you, Danny!
I remember an old video of his before he developed his persona. He was demonstrating how to chuck like Bernard Edwards and he nailed it with ease. He is a great player and his persona is fun. On the serious side, he took on Giacomo Turra for faking his videos and completely tore Turra's playhouse down.
