Dark glass Micro Tubes 900 v2 power question

I’m confused. The specs say 500w at 4ohm, yet it is a 900w amp. What am I missing?

I am not sure where you are seeing those specs but I reckon if anything it is a copy/paste snafu from the Microtubes 500w.

That's definitely the 500w as it only lists 3ohm as minimum impedance whereas the 900v2 can do 2ohm.
