Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

How long does the powerbank last?
I'm using the same one and the run time is safe for any scenario I can imagine; if you want to put a safe number on it, just call it very comfortably 6+ hours.

I did something last week that I really wasn't happy with myself about that unintentionally tested it. We had a gig with three bands and we were last to play and first to sound check...I wasn't checking the times because this wasn't intended but we got there at about 11 and were supposed to be done by noon so they could spike and strike the stage, so I can say it was probably on from 11:30 or so. We went up for our changeover at 8:15 and that's when I realized that I forget to unplug from battery when we left and it had been on all day 😬

The battery was reading 21%...and the Anagram was quite warm to the touch 😖

So, that was ~8 hours with something left in the tank

New Anagram convert here. I held back on this because I am old and intimidated by digital stuff. Having said that, I can tell you that a mere two hour investment in YouTube tutorials can get you fully up to speed on how to make great use of this thing. I figured out how to replicate my entire analog pedal board with only a few bumps along the way. Now I’m diving into maximizing the potential of scenes and having a blast. Darkglass hit it out of the park with the Anagram.

I have mine running on a power bank. Many thanks to you all here who shared details on the parts needed to do that!

Looks great! On the issue of the loose powerjacks on these units I must say the folks at MyVolts have really stepped up to the plate. They are sending out an adapter which takes up the slack. This isn't a myvolts issue it's a design oversight imo. I will report back when it arrives!

Really cool

as another reference point on USB powerbanks, I use a D'Addario 10k mAh USB powerbank and can easily get thru a 3hr gig, plus setup/soundcheck and still have 25% left on the battery. I think the Inui is 25k mAh

For those midi masters out there (because I can’t read another manual today)

Is it possible to have the Anagram set to Scene mode but a Midi controller toggle stomps on an off?

Currently I’ve got my Chocolate mirroring the footswitches on the device which is great when it’s on my desk and the controller is on the floor but for it to be giggable I’d need something like the above.

Yes, I have a similar use case, Anagram in scene mode and midi to control stomps. These are the settings I use.
While I have my M chocolate wave plus mounted 180 degrees turned, this is the order of my buttons: DCBA
D = increment scene
C = decrement scene
B = binding knob 3
A = binding knob 4

Do the LEDs work properly?
That things is annoying me the most in my Anagram, one year old, and the Midi is so bad (at least with the DG Midi switch)

For those of you interested, I reprocessed my NAM captures of the Pike Amplification Vulcan XL in the NAM2 format, and uploaded on Tone3000 ahead of tomorrow's update. Figured I might as well share with the community. I created two tone packs for the vintage and modern modes of the colour switch on the VXL. Each pack has 7 NAM files ranging in gain from min to max. Blend to max wet and EQ flat so you can add blend and EQ after the fact to your taste.

Hope y'all enjoy!

It'd be great if someone could capture the Broughton Sunray!

Awesome thank you! Anyone happen to have an Ashly SC-40 they could capture? 😁
