Darkglass Differentiation

I've been checking out the VMT lately and it seems there are differing graphics on the housing. Some say "Handmade In USA" while others say "Built in the USA". Is there any difference at all with the construction or components between the two? I'm assuming it can be used to track the relative age of the pedal based on when each option was used, but I'm not sure.

Hey! Good question, all though there are some minor differences, the pedal itself is the same.
We've done major revision changes over the years, but with the VMT, being such a new pedal, we've only done a few but the circuitry itself has stayed identical from the beginning. A good way to track the "age" of the pedal would be to check the serial number on the lid - the earlier ones have it inside, the latter you can see it written outside of the lid.

Yup! The latter VMT's have sharper corners and the box's lid and sides are brushed .
