I won't add PHOTON as a choice since it is too new for people to have experienced it. State if you use a pick or fingers, with an amp or not etc. I only mention the main of each series to keep it specific.

I’ve tried Darkglass several times and they always end up listed in the classifieds. Stellar build quality, I just don’t dig the Darkglass tone that they all seem to have. Would love, love, love if they did a B-15 / SVT pedal similar to Alpha Omega deluxe. But that’s unlikely to happen. They sell plenty doing what they’re doing.

a/o is the safest bet. Imo it’s the best all a-rounder

X is what I currently have on my board. It’s not as versatile as the A/O but for cutting through fast dirty metal style guitar playing
In particular It’s my favorite. So picking between the x and the A/o the music you play should be a big consideration.

the b7k was too subtle for me.

the duality is still my favorite fuzz. the filter control solved the issue I’ve always had with fuzzes where the high end of the fuzz sounds really trashy (in a bad way) when using modern active bassses. A lot of fuzzes sound good with a p bass with flats but for people who play with active basses with roundwounds I feel like they are missing out by not giving the duality a chance. I wouldn’t really compare it to the other pedals though. It’s a fuzz not a drive at all. It’ll turn heads when you turn it on on a gig but it’s more of a sprinkle it in here and there kind of pedal where the other all really can be left on for the entire song if you want.
