It uses 20mA but using a supply with more on reserve never hurts - a 1 Spot will work fine.

Yup, actually both me and Spencer test the pedals with 1spots as they are the starting point for power supplies in my opinion.
If they work fine with a 1spot, they'll most likely work great with fancier supplies.

Very good, I was more worried about the One Spot not being an isolated power supply. I think I read 'unregulated' as 'unisolated'. My mistake!

Regulated supplies are definitely preferable, but in most cases a One Spot will work fine. They're cheap, so it's easy to try it first and then step up to something fancier if it isn't behaving.

So we gotta here clips. The comparison between this and an oxide make me wonder if I'll like it. No offense meant to Taylor, but I didn't like the Oxide as much as some of my other fuzzes. It is AWESOME, but I like meatier fuzz. Does that make sense? Meaty goodness....

I'm sure it's not an Oxide clone in the same way the B3K is nowhere near a rat clone. Descriptions may be similar but my bet is they sound different.

Reading the Oxide discription on the website....it sounds like it's blending between a Brassmasster and a Wolly Mammoth? Those are VERY different circuits from what is in the Duality.

Descriptions don't mean much anyway. I liked my Oxide, but I could hear almost no difference between the two tones (other than the gating).

Looking forward to hearing this beastie.

There was a slight "tightening" of the signal too. There was a definite change beyond the gating, but it wasn't super drastic. Curious to hear this take on the idea though
