Hey all. I’m interested in getting the Darkglass Element for practice and recording purposes, but I am wondering if you can connect it to your amp as you would any other effects pedal to use the OD.

All I can find online is that you can place it between your cab and head to run to front of house. Which is cool, but not quite what I’m looking for.

I have an Aguilar TH350 head and a SL112 cab, so just wondering if there is a simple way to use the Element as an effects pedal for gigs.

I have a element and to my knowledge it does not have overdrive. It’s a great little device as a DI with cab sims or a practice tool as you can balance your favorite play along tracks via Bluetooth. But no OD, unless I missed an update.
You can place the element anywhere in your signal chain before the amp. Or place it in the pre/amp loop for a di and cab sim.

Hi all!
I'm thinking to buy a DG Element for practice, but it will replace a Preamp/DI I use (sometimes) just to get connected to a PA. I'm a lazy guy... Since I don't want to mess up with cables and re-routing all wirings somehow fixed, I'd like to leave the Element in the pedalboard (at the end of the chain) also during rehearsals and therefore using it to get connected to the amp (Darkglass microtubes 900 v1) and sometimes to a PA, if needed, in 'bypass mode' (no cab sym). Does anybody know if it's possible? Just to be clear, here is the idea:

Thanks in advance for any comment!

The amp out is just a passive bypass. The effected signal only goes to the DI, headphones, and USB outputs. The Element has no effect on the signal to your amp. So as long as that works for you, your planned setup looks good.
