Darkglass Microtubes 900 + DG410C Shuts down on stage

Hi,
I currently have a Hartke LH1000 going through a Hartke Hydrive HD410, but I've been interested in Darkglass' offerings for quite some time. I currently play mostly jazz/fusion (i.e. I idolize Jaco, John Patitucci, & Victor Wooten), but I envision a long career ahead (I'm only 13 - don't worry moderators, my dad monitors this account and will allow me to post only after he reads what I write!) and I still want to explore other genres too. I love my Hartke rig, but you know us musicians...always curious, always looking to explore what's out there...so I was thinking along the lines of pairing the Alpha-Omega head with the DG410C. Is a rig like this good for jazz? Do any renowned jazz artists use it? Or is something like this more geared toward distortion addicts and hard rock/metal players?
I typically get my gear from Sweetwater (they've always been great to my dad and me), and they have the Alpha-Omega head, but I noticed that they have discontinued offering the DG410C, so I came here...and I think I found out why. There hasn't been too much activity in this thread for months, so I'm thinking the issues with the cab have been resolved, and that there aren't any new "bad ones" floating around anymore? I'm happy with the Hartke...and that rig costs less than half of what the Darkglass rig would cost...so I really need to know that my dad wouldn't be wasting his money or setting himself up for weeks/months of aggravation! Also, where would be a good place to get the cab (US online retailer) if we take the plunge?
