Is it just me, or is it always better when rap approaches rock (i.e. Flobots, Beastie Boys) than when rock approaches rap (Linkin Park, Korn, Limp Bizkit)

I have to agree with this. I definitely like band oriented hip-hop groups like the Roots a lot more than rock groups that try to rap.

There is no such thing as rock or hip-hop stations.

There is black people and white people stations, jeez guys, it's not that difficult to understand. More black people listen to hip-hop stations, and the Flobots appeal to more white people.

It really is that simple, that's why it's played on your rock station.

Personally, its my favorite album at the moment. RockRap s great, Flobots, Linkin Park/Jay Z, Beastie Boys, etc. They have some killer bass lines on Fight With Tools, including the title track Fight with Tools, Combat (Explicit), and the rest are still groovin. Big plus is they speak what I believe. Absolutely a new fan.
