David Ellefson Breaks foot Megadeth cancels shows.

As for fans, if they "expect" me to show up with a broken foot to keep them happy, screw them. If that's what I have to do to keep them as fans I would rather quit and take up golf. If my favorite artist....someone whose music had given endless hours of joy.....we're to be injured or become ill, I would simply hope for a speedy recovery and good health in the future.
Those of you who expected Lemmy to keep showing up right up until he fell over dead were jerks in my view.
Then there's looking out for one's health. There's a thread around here right now where a TBer is going to lose his fingernail because "the show must go on". Just silly in my view....especially when we're probably talking about a stupid bar gig.
Im surprised Mustain didn't say something like,
"You know the show must go on. He's just a bass player. We can play fine without him."

I recall that Nick Menza took over drums on a few occasions when their full time drummer had some issue or two. Why can't Ellefson's Bass tech fill in?
The two Dave's are back on pain pills recreationally as well as drinking. I know this as I was with a friend who knows a tech on their staff, we hung out with the band in Ohio. Makes sense to not play since he'd have to take a huge dose just to feel it.
