Like I said on another board, I thought he went all humanitarian and devoted himself to being an EMT.

DLR is an interesting choice. It remains to be seen if he can compete with Howard's ratings without becoming just another Howard.
I wonder what Stern's going to do on Sirius. I find him completely vulgar and un-funny when he's uncensored... most of his genius IMO is being vulgar while not straying far from FCC guidelines. But who knows, maybe uncensored Stern will provide the subscriber boost Sirius is praying for. What a country...

On a serious note, your question is indeed important. Successful talk-radio shows work because the listener is more involved than other types of media.MJ5150 said:

David Lee Roth is replacing HOWARD Stern? I thought it was DAVID Stern he was replacing.

I'm a Stern fan which, apparently, puts me in the minority here... Anyway, any Stern fan knows that Chaunce Hayden, Yahoo's "source", is a buffoon and a fringe journalist at best. Don't bet on DLR, guys.
Here's my dark horse guess: Chris Booker. Booker's a Stern friend who does afternoons here in NY. He has Stern show members on occassionally and definitely I think he's in the mix.

I've been listening to Howard Stern since I was 11. I'm 19 now and nobody can replace Stern. Not even DLR. Lucky me I baught Sirius satellite radio so I still get to listen to Stern when he goes.
