That was impressive. I've only watched a couple of his normal YouTube videos - I think I'm too old for his sense of humor - but the dude can play.

Sounds about the same tempo as the original to me. Maybe a few BPM difference
There are some haters here. Davie504 is an extremely talented musician, at the top of his game.
Also, he seems to be a financial success despite never releasing any recorded music.
I dunno...haters gonna hate.
Too bad, I'm sure he'd like you.Man his content used to be marginally entertaining, it’s unwatchable now. I can’t stand that prick.
There are players who have been playing publicly for years who haven't learned how to work a crowd or have any stage presence. If that's actually his first time playing publicly (I'm not convinced it is), he did alright with it.In saying that, in that video at least he appears to have zero stage presence. It does show that he hasn't grown up learning to work a stage and a crowd. His playing live is still multiple levels above what i'll ever achieve though.
Thats what I said. Critics are gonna critique but fans (even youtube fans) pay the bills.Sure is a lot of hate in here towards a guy that's made a success of himself doing what he loves. Geesh!

His Reddit presence is insane. He's not just working YouTube he's working all the right places. He's incredible. How do you produce entertainment with a bass? He's just about the only person who's ever done it, as far as I know. He discusses in one video how difficult it is to sustain a youtube channel, and it made me feel bad for him. Oppressively difficult, it seemed. I take everything he says with a grain of salt because he is always kidding, basically. So I don't believe he has never otherwise played live either.
I mean... Calling someone a prick is fairly hateful.Respectfully, that's an inappropriate use of the word "hate". Not being enthusiastic about somebody does not mean hating this person.
