First let's not get into the whole against the wall or on the floor on it's side.
Often I go to somebody's house and there isn't a good wall and on the floor, especially with the endpin sticking out 12" is not always the safest place. Out of sight out of mind.
I can't seem to get the Ingels to not want to tip back.
At best the front legs raise up about half an inch.
Is there an Ingels website? I'm not finding any help on setting up this stand for a long endpin.

This site has some pretty good info. I found out the Hercules stand has max endpin length of 8".
I'm wondering one of the lighter stands like the K&M would be stable.
Again , I don't think it's a good idea to use a stand in the middle of the room but I think using a stand off in a corner would be best when that corner is not going to work for the bass alone.
Also with the Ingles I'm wondering if anybody just bends the back rod/neck support forward to keep the bass from leaning back so far?
