Why is it that there is always at least one deadbeat in the band??? And why do the BL's tolerate it??? Am I the only one who sees this nonsense?? By deadbeat, I mean this: Brings absolutely NOTHING to the table. Does not learn material! Is never prepared! Won't learn key background vocal parts. When singing songs that are assigned to her......never comes in when she is supposed to while the band is repeating the intro until she decides she's gonna start singing. And it's not just the singers.
I'm literally getting to the point of just hanging it up! All the good bands already have bass players. I know.....well Dave...why not start your own band? With who? The good musicians are already taken! There's only second and third tier musicians left to choose from. well Dave....why not give them a chance to get better? Umm......if they have not improved in the 40-50+ years of their life.....they ain't getting any better. They have peaked!
Ugh!! Is it just me?
Actually one of my guitarest didnt have a band for awhile and even now our band isnt much of a band more just friends that really enjoy playing the same stuff and connect musically anyway this guys amazing he plays keith merrow stuff all the time and has written amazing music and hes just a guy who practices in his room and if you didnt play music with him you would have no idea at all that he even plays music at all, its really hard to find them but there are great players without bands
